On June 19, members of the IBM Canada Early Professional Talent Acquisition team attended the TalentEgg National Campus Recruitment Excellence Awards.
This annual event provides an opportunity for employers, accredited universities and colleges, career centres, career educators and coaches to not only be recognized within the industry and among their peers, but to also gather valuable feedback from top students and recent graduates on their campus recruitment initiatives.
The conference portion of this year’s event included multiple panel discussions that shared best practices and industry insights. Two members of our Canada team presented as panelists, including Bridget King who described her experience as a recent Corporate Services Corp assignee, and Mary Kamel who discussed her views during the “Getting to Know the Person Behind the CV” panel.
The IBM Canada Talent Acquisition Campus Team was recognized with the following awards, judged by top students and recent graduates:
Best Internship/Co-op Program- recruitment and hiring approach, overall experience and engagement with interns/co-op and student retention
Best On-Campus Student Engagement Strategy- engagement activities on-campus and the success of these initiatives
Best Social Media Presence- overall social media campaigns, effectiveness of content and audience engagement
and a finalist for these awards:
